Pauline Lenore (Mizell) Taylor was born 25 January 1942 in Mullens, West Virginia to the late Deacon Emertius Walter M. Mizell, Jr. and Pearl Pauline (Boston) Mizell. Sister Taylor ascended to glory on 4 July 2017 and is preceded in death by her father Walter M. Mizell, Jr. and brothers Walter Mizell, III and Bernard M. Mizell.

Sister Taylor grew up in Mullens, West Virginia where she along with her parents and siblings performed in a family Quartet. A talented group, they where highly sought out to perform at churches throughout the region, In the late 1950's graduating high school in West Virginia, Sis. Taylor moved to Long Island, New York where she had a job as a live-in nanny awaiting her. However, some years later, she took a job at East House Enterprises in Manhattan, New York where she met her husband of 48 years, George K. Taylor. They were married and eventually moved to Ozark, Alabama.

While living in Ozark, she worked four years at the Officer's club in Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Afterwards she was primarily employed in Healthcare positions as a home healthcare and nursing assistant.

Sis. Taylor became a member of Greater Sardis Missionary Baptist Church almost 40 years ago where she was active in the choir, the Matrons, and Missionaries groups/organizations.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, George K. Taylor along with four children, two daughters and two sons. Her two daughters; Elisa (Edward) Carthon of San Antonio, Texas and Michelle Lewis (Billy Boyd) of Alamogordo, New Mexico. Her two sons, J. Michael Taylor of Dothan, Alabama and Keith R. Taylor of Rochester, New York; and in addition, her step-daughter, Selena M. Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia. She also leaves her beloved mother, Pearl P. Mizell of Enterprise, Alabama and two sisters ; Barbara Mizell-Jones of Enterprise, Alabama and Deborah K. Mizell of Bronx, New York.

In addition, she leaves 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, aunts, an uncle, cousins and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. We will all miss her physical presence dearly but will celebrate her life, her smile, her kindness and generosity!
