Mr. A.Z. Stanley was born on November 4, 1940 in Columbia,

Alabama to the late Isaiah and Maebell Stanley. From the very

beginning, his life was marked by strength, faith, and resilience.

At an early age, he accepted Christ and joined St. Walden

Missionary Baptist Church in Rehobeth/Dothan, Alabama. His

unwavering faith became a guiding light, inspiring all who knew

him to walk with hope and purpose.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Navie Stanley;

his devoted parents, Mrs. and Mr. Isaiah Stanley; his cherished

son, Marvin Stanley; and his siblings, three sisters and six

brothers. Rough he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on

through his loving family - his sons, Tony (Vevelyn) Stanley

and Vincent (Rhonda) Barber both of Dothan, Alabama;

daughters, Loria Gissendanner Stanley of Auburn, Alabama

and Kathy (Morris) Stanley Wilburn of Cusseta,

Alabama; and a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren,

nieces, and nephews.

Mr. Stanley s life was a testament to the power of love,

perseverance, and faith. He leaves behind a legacy that will

inspire generations to come.
