On October 24, 1937, Abraham Snell, Sr. was born to the Late Byrt and Mamie Snell in Ozark, Alabama. At an early age, Abraham joined The First Missionary Baptist Church in Ozark, Alabama. Abraham attended and graduated from Ozark City Schools, May 1957. Abraham was a trailblazer.  He began his career at H.C. Dowlings Department Store before venturing to travel. He spent many of his later years in Lake Wales, Florida. Abraham was preceded in death by Sisters- Dovie Mae Newman, Martha Newman; Brothers- Paul Snell, Ezekiel Snell. He leaves to cherish a loving son, Abraham (Ricketa) Snell, Jr., Hoover, AL; Grandchildren, Kara Snell, Nashville, TN; Jonathan Snell, Auburn, AL; Micah Snell, Hoover, AL;  A loving sister, Mrs. Alberta Walker, Ozark, AL; A special niece and caregiver, Ms. Laura A. Lee, Ozark, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
