Obituary

Anne Jo Coleman was the fourth child of seven children born to the late Simuel & Erie Coleman. She was a member of Pleasant Grove A.M.E. Zion Church, where she was a faithful member until her health declined.

She attended Mack M. Matthews High School in Pinckard, Al. Later, she attended Enterprise Junior College, in Enterprise, Al., where she received her bachelor's degree in accounting. She later moved to Detroit, Michigan. After 3 years in Detroit, she returned back to Ozark, Al., and established her own tax accounting business. It was named Income Tax Management. Annie Jo met a lot of people while working as an income tax consultant and gained the love and trust of her clients. She was a community activist, who often spoke up for the citizens of Ozark on matters of concern. She was also a faithful employee of White Knight Management. Her kindness and diligent ways will truly be missed by those who loved her.

In 1973, she met her life partner, Charles Brown, who preceded her in death. To this union, two children were born. She was also preceded in death by her mother and father, (Ozark, Al.), her brother, Cicero Coleman; her sister, Mildred Coleman; and two nephews- Marcus Dyck and Christopher Coleman.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Fatima Coleman; her son, Jamaal Coleman, both of Ozark, AL; two grandsons-Jayshon Rivers and Jacques Coleman; two granddaughters-Cha'vonna Coleman and Jai'Yonnah Rivers; her "pride and joy"- Jamarie Williams; all of Ozark, AL.
