Christopher Craig Stanford was born on February 2, 1983 in Ozark, Alabama to Antonio Terry and the late Willie Pearl Stanford.  He graduated from Carroll High  School in 2001, and in 2007 Chris joined the Army to serve his country. In 2018, Chris began his employment with Wayne Sanderson Farms, where he worked as a line associate until his passing on July 20, 2025.

Chris was a quiet and loving person, who mainly kept to himself.  He was a hard worker on his job and enjoyed spending time with his family.  He loved Alabama football - (ROLL TIDE!!) and would often kick back and watch the game with his best friend, Bradley.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Christopher is preceded in death by his mother, Willie Pearl Stanford; his grandmothers, Emma Flowers and Emma Terry; his grandfather, Otis Terry, Sr., his uncle, James Flowers and his aunt, Angel Stanford.  Chris leaves to cherish his loving memory his father, Antonio ("T-Bo") Terry of Ozark, Al.  and his grandfather,  Winston Newsome.  He also leaves four children:  Isha Warren-Stanford of Clio, Alabama; KahNiya Stanford of Enterprise, Al.; Zhuri Williams and Christopher Stanford Jr. of Troy, Al.; sisters:  Connie Carson of Ozark, Al. and Kanesha Humes of Flint, Michigan; brothers:  Ryan Harris (Jessica Dumas) of Huntsville, Al., and Antonio Gissendanner of Ozark, Al.  one granddaughter, Khloee' Warren of Clio, Al., and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
