Emily Dean Caple was born Feb. 14, 1941 to the late Mr. N.K. & Millie Mae Slater. She joined the Mt. Olive Baptist Church at an early age where she joined the choir, served in the Missionary Aide, and The Matrons. She transitioned from this life on August 30, 2021 at Dale Medical Center. She was preceded in her death by her sister, two brothers, two daughters, one granddaughter. She leaves to cherish her legacy of precious memories, her husband J.C. Caple, one son, Billy F. Caple (Ommer), a loving granddaughter that she raised Yolonda Caple (Chris) two sisters, Jeanette (Slater) Peavy, Rebecca Terry (Ronald), one brother Sterling Slater, seven grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, five great greatgrandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
