Eva Holmes was born March 2nd 1960 from the matrimony of Rosby and Pauline Holmes. She attended D.A. Smith High School in Ozark, AL. She gave her life to Christ and attended Soldiers for Christ in Ozark. She love to fish at Dale County Lake. When she wasn't fishing she enjoyed watching cartoons and knitting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Barbara Costin, a brother Johnny Holmes.

She leaves to cherish her memories, Her sister Robbie Holmes, her brother Clarence Holmes, Devoted Nieces; Perry Holmes, Lizear Tazewell, Martha Holmes, Natalie Holmes, Kenya Holmes, Shermane Holmes, Nephews; Melvin Holmes, Torraino Holmes, Demario Holmes, Michael Wilson, Author Holmes, Tyler Holmes and a special little niece Ashanti Ruley.
