ARITON... James Crittenden, a resident of Ariton,  passed away, Friday, March 16, 2018 in Flowers Hospital. He was 76.

Mr. James Crittenden Born on September 23, 1941 to the late Ciney Crittenden and Daisy Payne. His Grandparents Mr. Phil Crittenden and Wife Corilla of the Long Street Community who raised him after his mother's death. He leaves to cherish his wife of twenty-seven (27) years Shirley (Casey) Crittenden and two boys James Crittenden Jr. and Phillip Crittenden of Ariton, Al. James worked numerous years in the pulpwood industry. He was also employed at one time at Ft. Rucker, Al until he went into business for himself until he became disabled in 1979. He will be missed by many both friends and family, but he will rest peacefully now in the arms of the Lord.
