Ms. Janet M.M. Taylor was born July 6, 1936.  the daughter of proud parents James W. Taylor, Sr. and Rohdie J. Taylor.  Janet went on to eternal rest July 10, 2025.

Janet united with St. Paul A.M.E. Church at an early age.  She later moved to New York, where she lived for thirty years.  After returning to Ozark, Alabama, she joined Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church Skipperville, Alabama.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Taylor, Sr.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Votie C. Hawkins (Brady), Laura J. Brown (Heywood) and brother-in-law, James Mathew; and three brothers, James W. Taylor, Jr., Wyatt F. Taylor (Margaret), and George K. Taylor (Pauline).

She is survived by sisters, Betty L. Mathew, Carroll E. Baxter, and Shirley T. Welch; a special niece, Michelle Lewis of Alamogardo, New Mexico; two special friends, Beatrice Anderson of Ozark, Alabama and Mrs. Julie Condray of Bufferton, South Carolina; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
