Lucinda Caple, a longtime resident of Barbour County, was born on October 28, 1926. Later in life she moved to Dothan, AL where she remained until her health declined. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Butler and Mary Caple, as well as five of her children, Lucinda passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Hartford Health Care Nursing Home.

Lucinda leaves behind a legacy of love with five living children and a host of grand children and great-grand children, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins to cherish her memories, touching the lives of everyone that met her throughout her 97 years. Her impact will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
