REFLECTION OF LIFE: Life, like each season, has a beauty of its own, Seeds are planted, they sprout, they blossom, then they are gone.

TIME TO BE BORN: Maurine Faye Welch was born to A.W. Matthews & Earnestine Fryer Matthews on July 31, 1964, in Carson Colorado.

TIME TO LIVE: She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and joined Greater Old Salem Baptist Church, Ozark, Alabama and later joined First Missionary Baptist Church in Ozark, Alabama, then later in life she joined Daleville Christian Church in Daleville, Alabama.

TIME TO LEARN: Her early education started @ Lisenby Elementary School and finished @ Carroll High School in 1985. She attended Alabama A&M University (Bulldogs) where she was a member of the Perishing Rifles (Angels). She also attended Wallace College and became a dialysis Nurse (LPN).

TIME TO REMEMBER: She was preceded in death by her parents A.W. Matthews and Earnestine Matthews and one brother (Taurus Gholsby). Her survivors include: One daughter; Jamaya Dubose, step-son Michael Welch; one beautiful grad-daughter; McCkenzie Graham, Sister; Deforest G. Arthur, and several nieces and nephews.

TIME TO DIE: On Thursday April 19, 2018 @ 8:30 p.m. at Flowers Hospital Dothan, Alabama. Maurine went home. She was loved by many and always will be. Family and Friends,
