Steve J. Sullivan was born in Dale County (Alabama) July 4, 1960 to the late Minnie O. Bennett and Freddie J. Sullivan.  He was a resident of Ozark Alabama. He was a graduate in 1978 at Carroll High School. He attended Jackson State College and joined the U S Army in 1979.

Steve was a hard working man and loved his church St. Mark AME Zion, his community,   family especially his little brother Jeffery (Vanessa) Roseboro.  He was preceded in death by his mother Minnie O Bennett and Father Freddie J Sullivan, uncle Roy Miles( Pappa Do) and sister Fatima Miles(Alan).

He was a devoted servant of God, father, brother, grandfather of 5, uncle with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.  Special thanks to Joseph and Mary McLeod and classmate and life long friend Anthony Leverette.
