Tommy Lee Stevenson was born on April 14, 1939 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Cora Mae and Willie Lee Stevenson. Tommy was an only child. He was the grandson of the late Addie and Gilbert Washington and the late Charles and Lena Stevenson. he graduated from the D.A. Smith High School where he met the love of his life, Mary Gean Cummings. They married in 1959.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Willie Lee and Mrs. Cora Mae Stevenson, a son, Anthony, and his in laws, Mr. and Mrs. James D. Cummings, Sr.

His memories will be forever cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Mary; daughter Bobbette (Doug) of Columbus, Ohio; son Durma, Ozark; grandson Benjamin, a student at Emory University; sisters in law, Betty Ann, and Barbara of Ft. Lauderdale; Dorris, Tuskgee; Carolyn, Ozark; and brother-in-law, Rev. Titus Cummings of Ozark; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; Special great niece, Jada, and great nephew, Jataryin, who referred to Tommy as "Papa."

The end to Tommy's earthly journey has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends II timothy 4:7 reminds us "I have fought well, I have finished the race and I have been faithful." This is a fitting tribute to Tommy.
