Willie Earl Jones, of Johnstown, AL, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024 at the age of 73. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Willie Earl Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Jones and Betsy Barrow; his brother, Billy Ray Jones; his sister, Elinda Gail Gissendanner; his daughter, Angela Jones; and his son, Tyrone Jones.

He is survived by his brothers, Arthur Jones, Charles Jones, and Donnie Jones; his sons, Mardie Williams and Maurice Jones; his daughters, Jewel Sistrunk and Sylvia Williams; sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He now rejoices in reunion with his parents, brother, sister, daughter, and son in heaven.

Willie Earl Jones was born on April 27th, 1951 from the union of Arthur and Betsy Jones, throughout his life, Willie Earl Jones was a dedicated and skilled painter and handyman. He worked for Annie Law Parker and James Sasser, and contributed to the beautification of Lisenby School. He also successfully ran his own painting and handyman business, demonstrating his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family.
