The life of Alfonso Randolph Henry began on March 1, 1957. He was born to Roosevelt Henry and Estella Henry Jones in Tampa, Florida. On October 22, 2022, he entered eternal rest at home with his family.
After growing up in Tampa, Alfonso served in the United States Army for 13 years. He made Ozark, Alabama his home. He received his Associates of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy from Wallace Community College. He worked for Dale Medical Center for 27 years before retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roosevelt Henry, Estella and Ulysses Jones, brother Roosevelt (Luck) Henry, Frederick (Leroy) Henry and sister Catherine (Renee) Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Deborah Henry. Two loving daughters, LaToya C. A. Henry and Ceara Ruby Henry. His pride and joy, his grand-children Xavier Gabriel Henry and Cereniti Skye Henry Bivens of Ozark, Alabama. His niece raised as a bonus daughter, Chelsea L. Roberts. One sister Sharon (Tat) Henry of Tampa, Florida, sister’s in-law Rejina Warren, Vanessa Harris, Tammie Roberts of Ozark, Alabama, Alison (Elmo) Boyd of Dothan, Alabama. Brothers’ in-law, Gene (Rita) Lynn of Ozark, Alabama and Adrian (Loise) Lynn of Enterprise, Alabama. Uncles Clarence (Nara) Gaines and William Singletary of Tampa, Florida. Aunts Alberta Ellison, Vera (Earl) Luckey of Tampa, Florida. A host of nieces, nephews and other family members. Last but not least, his outdoor companion, Diamond.
