Issac Baze Snell Jr. was born November 25, 1949 to the late Issac Baze Snell Sr. and Maggie Howard Snell. He confessed Christ at an early age and united with the First Missionary Baptist Church in Ozark, Alabama. He was a faithful member and Sunday School Teacher. He attended D.A. Smith High School from there he left to further his education at Alabama A&M University and while there he was drafted in the Army. During his tour he served in the Vietnam War. After his tour in the Army he returned to the Alabama A&M to complete his degree. After returning home he had several jobs but none suited him like being a barber. He was a Snell’s Barber Shop until the end.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter Laura Wilson, two grandsons, BJ McLeod and Tereon Wilson. Two sisters Joyce Griffin and Alfreda Byrd. Three nephews Marcel Griffin, Derrick (Milsey) Byrd, Marquis (Candace) Byrd. Four great nephews, Torez, Justin, Kyle, Kobe. One nice Imani, a special cousin, Christine Thomas and a host of relatives and friends.
