Janie Cooper

Ms. Janie Rosalee Cooper, 99, was called home on Sunday, November 21, 2021 in Ozark, Alabama. She was born October 27, 1922 to Wayne Cooper and Luvenia Scruggs Cooper, both deceased.

A Savannah native, she was a member of St Paul C.M.E Church and attended often. She was employed at Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia as a Dietary Specialist for over 40 years before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her sister Nellie Hall and brother Samuel Alfred Cooper Sr.

She leaves to cherish her daughter, Victoria (Bernard) Flowers (Ozark, Alabama), grandson, Jason (Jamie) Flowers (Hinesville, Georgia) great-grandson Jase Flowers (Hinesville, Georgia) sister in law Mrs. Arna T. Cooper (Savannah, Georgia) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
