Jerry Laster was born March 12, 1952 to the late George and Ethelrine Laster. Jerry was called home to his heavenly home on October 2, 2021.
Jerry received christ into his life and when he accepted christ he wanted to share the goodness of the Lord with anybody and everybody. He worked at Ozark Building Supply for many years until retired.
Jerry is preceeded in death by his parents George and Etherine Laster, five brothers Charlie Laster, Willie D. Laster, Jessie Laster, George Laster, Jr., and Robert Laster; and several aunts and uncles, nephew and great niece.
Jerry leaves to mourn and cherish his memories two sisters: Rosie Petty of Ozark, Al and Catherine (David) Thomas of Chancellor, Al; three brothers: Lorenzo Laster of Ozark, Al, William (LoLo) Laster of Dothan, AL and Joseph (Trina) Laster of Newton, Al. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He never had children of his own. He loved his nieces and nephews as his own. Jerry was well known as JB and his favorite slogan "To tough to talk about".
