He attended Ozark City Public Schools before joining the United States Army, serving his country for four years. Following his time with the military, Leon became a dedicated Firefighter for the city of Ozark. He served this community faithfully for many years.
Leon leaves to cherish his memories: His mother: Lou Ethel Flowers; two brothers: Wade Flowers(Victoria) & Terrell Flowers (Natanya); two daughters: Rhonda Flowers & Regina Mark (Anthony); four grandchildren: Mykahla Flowers, Adrian Borders, Bryson Mark & Ava Mark; two great-grand children: Kahleb Arquello & Isabella Soto. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Two sisters, Carolyn Flowers & Debra Floyd, one brother, Jerome (Tina) Flowers & his father Sylvester Flowers who have preceded him in death.
