Lewis "L.K." Martin left his earthly home Wednesday, September 16th, he was 72 years of age.
Obituary
Mr. Lewis K. Martin was born on September 7, 1948, to the late Deacon Ulysses and Mother Carrie B. Martin and departed this life on September 16, 2020 at the home of his beloved mother. He was proceeded in death by his late wife, Loretta Barrow, his father, the late Deacon Ulysses Martin, Sister, Diane Martin, and brothers Love Otis Martin and Ulysses (Shorty) Martin and nephew Eddie Russell. He served in the United States Army for 20 years and did two tours in the Vietnam War era and retired as a Staff Sergeant. He worked for Civil Service on Fort Rucker for 15 years. He born and raised in the Church of God by Faith, Ozark. He graduated from D. A. Smith High School in 1967.
He is survived by his daughters Marquita (Willie) Britt, Sabrina (his great caretaker) (William) Searles and Son, Lewis D. (Tracy) Martin. Former wife, Lanetria Rose Martin and the Queen of the Martin Family, Mother Carrie B. Martin, all of Ozark. Three granddaughters, Shari Britt, Raven Britt, Shianti Martin, one grandson Jordan Britt and one great-grand son, Kenyian Spells. Two brothers Jerry Martin and Mike (Shari) Martin, Birmingham, AL. Four Sisters, Cathy (Charlie) Woods, Tuscaloosa, Al, Debra Martin, Ozark, Sheila (Joe) Lucas, South Carolina, and Cynthia (Steven) McClendon (Dothan). Many in laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
