Mary Johnson Obituary

On December 25th 1949 Mary Elizabeth Johnson Johnson was born to Alto and Hillie Johnson in Coffee County, Alabama. Mary grew up in the Doster Community where she attended and graduated from the Clio Public School where she met the love of her life Joseph Johnson.

Mary and Joseph became one in marriage on August 23rd 1969 and from this union one child was born, Pamela who they both loved and adored. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt to her family.

Mary became a member of St. Louis Baptist Church at the age of 13. Mary was very fortunate to travel the world with her husband and lived a wonderful life.

On Friday March 17th our great father decided that it was her time to rest and she passed away at home surrounded by love.

Mary was proceeded in death by her husband Joseph, her parents Alto and Hillie Mae Johnson , one sister, Vernell Johnson and one brother Alvin Johnson.

She Leaves a loving family to mourn her rest. One daughter Pamela S. Johnson, two grandsons Davian J. Johnson and Cameron J. Flowers, one brother Melvin Johnson all of Ariton, AL. Five special nieces Lakeisha Griffin (Joey) of Ozark, AL Gia Lewis GA. Courtney Warren and Kryiston Jordon (Rodger) of Clio, AL. and Keisha McCray (Rico) of GA. And one special nephew Antoine Smith (Felisha) of Ozark, AL. plus ten additional nephews. Her best friend from childhood Ruby Faulk of Daleville, AL a special sister-in-law Bobbie Warren of Clio, AL. and her special laughing and joking buddy Bruce Flowers of Ozark, AL.
